After you register or re-domicile your VCC, these are the next steps you need to take. Some have deadlines. Others help you run your business day-to-day.
(Required) Apply for Corppass
Corppass is the single login method for all government-to-business transactions.
When you can apply: One day after you get your Unique Entity Number (UEN).
Who needs Corppass: All entities (including non-profit organisations) that deal with government agencies online. This includes Bizfile transactions.

(Required) Set up and maintain registers
Once your VCC is incorporated, you need to set up and maintain these registers.

(Required for umbrella VCCs) Register sub-funds
Sub-funds can only be registered under umbrella VCCs.
Note: You cannot register sub-funds under non-umbrella VCCs. If you change your VCC type to an umbrella VCC, you need to update the VCC portal within 14 days.

(Required for re-domiciled VCCs) Submit proof of de-registration
You must submit proof that your business was deregistered in its jurisdiction within 60 days of approval.
Apply for an extension of time if you cannot meet the 60-day deadline. ACRA may cancel your Singapore registration if you do not send this proof on time.

(Required) Appoint a company secretary and auditor
You must appoint these key officers to ensure your VCC complies with the legislation:
Appoint an auditor within three months of registration.
Appoint a company secretary within six months of incorporation.

(Employers) Apply for CPF submission number
If you plan to hire staff, you need to apply for a CPF Submission Number (CSN).
You will need this for monthly CPF payments.
(Employers) Know your duties as an employer
As an employer, you should:
Check the WorkRight website for employment legislation.
Follow minimum wage rules on the Progressive Wage Model (PWM).
Register a data protection officer (DPO)
All organisations must register at least 1 Data Protection Officer (DPO). This is required under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
