Steps to file a VCC’s annual return
Learn how to file your Variable Capital Company's annual returns through the VCC portal.

Before you start
All VCCs must meet annual return deadlines and requirements. This guide explains how to file annual returns to avoid penalties and enforcement action.
Who may file
Appointed VCC officers (such as the director or company secretary) can file annual returns.
You may also engage a Corporate Service Provider to file on your behalf.
What you need to check beforehand
You need to check your VCC and sub-fund information before you file. Make sure these details are correct and up to date:
Registered office address
Business activities (primary and secondary)
Details of the VCC officers and manager
Sub-fund details
Note: You must keep this information up to date. If anything is incorrect, you must update it before you file.

Steps to file an annual return
Open VCC eServices and log in to your account.
Click "eServices" then "Annual Filing".
Select "Annual Return by VCC".
Submit your application.

After you file an annual return
You will receive a free electronic Business Profile after successful filing. Download within 30 days as the free copy expires after this period.
You must still file your taxes. To do this, you will need to file Form C-S or Form C.
Note: Dormant companies must also file tax returns unless IRAS has granted a waiver. Learn more about filing requirements for dormant companies.
Filing overdue annual returns
If your VCC has not filed annual returns for more than 1 financial year, you must file all overdue returns first. Follow the same steps to file your annual return.
