Striking off a variable capital company (VCC)
Learn how to strike off a VCC from ACRA's register if it is inactive or debt-free.
What is striking off
You may apply to close a VCC by striking it off ACRA's register. Striking off removes your VCC's name from ACRA's register to permanently close it.
ACRA may approve the application if it believes that your VCC:
Is not carrying on business
Meets the striking off criteria

How to apply for striking off
Open VCC eServices and log in to your account.
Click eServices, then Close a VCC.
Select Application to strike off a VCC.
Submit your application.

How to strike off a VCC through VCC eServices
Note: The striking off process starts after your application is approved by ACRA. The process takes at least three months after ACRA approval, depending on whether anyone objects.
