When your business name or key details change, you need to update ACRA via Bizfile.

Update your entity information within 14 days if any of these changes:

  • Business activity (what your business does)

  • Registered office address

  • Business owners or authorised representatives

Here is what you need to do

Appointed business owners or authorised representatives

Update the appointment or withdrawal of position holders within 14 days.

Tip: Inform other owners before you apply (if any). They must endorse online within 14 days, or you will need to reapply.

Particulars of business owners or authorised representatives

Update position holder details within 14 days if any of these changes:

  • Name (you must attach a deed poll)

  • Identification (ID) type or number

  • Nationality

  • Residential address: ACRA will send all official letters to this address.

  • Contact address: ACRA will display this in its public records instead of the residential address. It must be in the same country as your residential address and cannot be a P.O. Box address.

  • Contact number and e-mail address

Note: Singapore citizens and permanent residents do not need to inform ACRA of changes to their name, residential address, or ID. Please report these changes to Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) directly.
