Note: Consider all implications carefully before you close your business. Your business will be closed immediately after you submit the eService. You cannot reverse the closure once ACRA approves it.
Step 1: Log in to Bizfile and open the "File cessation or dissolution of business entity" eService
Follow these steps to navigate to the File cessation or dissolution of business entity eService.
Note: All entity and personal information (including UEN, entity details, NRIC or FIN numbers, names and addresses) shown are dummy data for illustration purposes only.
Step 2: Enter your cessation details
You need to verify that you are closing the correct business. Then, enter the cessation date and reasons.
After you apply
Your registration status will update based on the cessation date you choose:
Immediate cessations (past and current date): Your status will change to "Ceased registration" immediately.
Future-dated cessation: Your status will show as "To be ceased" until the cessation date. On that date, it will automatically update to "Ceased registration".
