Suspension / Cancellation of Public Accountants registered with ACRA due to non-compliance with an order issued by the Public Accountants Oversight Committee (PAOC)

The Public Accountants Oversight Committee (PAOC) metes out a range of orders for public accountants undergoing practice reviews, depending on the severity of non-compliance with the professional standards, as well as the public accountant's PMP history. Please click here for the different types of PAOC orders. 

These orders are to be strictly complied with and any non-compliance with the orders may result in suspension or cancellation of the registration as a public accountant.

It is hereby notified for general information that the Public Accountants Oversight Committee has made the following orders for non-compliance with PAOC Order(s), pursuant to

  1. Section 38(1) of the version of the Accountants Act that was in force prior to 1 July 2023; or

  2. Section 38(5) or Section 38(6) of the version of the Accountants Act that is in force from 1 July 2023.
