When your LLP's name or key details change, you must update ACRA via Bizfile.

  • Registered office address

Appointed partners or managers

Update the appointment or withdrawal of position holders within 14 days

Tip: Inform other partners or managers before you apply (if any). They must endorse online within 14 days, or you will need to reapply.

Particulars of partners or managers

Update position holder details within 14 days of any of these changes:

  • Name (you must attach a deed poll)

  • Identification (ID) type or number

  • Nationality

  • Residential address: ACRA will send all official letters to this address.

  • Contact address: ACRA will display this in its public records instead of the residential address. It must be in the same country as your residential address and cannot be a P.O. Box address.

  • Contact number and e-mail address

Note: Singapore citizens and permanent residents do not need to inform ACRA of changes to their name, address, or ID. Please report these changes to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) directly.

Maintaining an RORC

Registrable controllers are individuals or legal entities that have significant ownership or significant control over your LLP. They are commonly known as beneficial owners.

Unless exempted, you must meet the requirements below.

Set up and maintain an RORC, which includes keeping a physical or electronic copy at your:

  • Registered office address

  • Corporate service provider's office

The RORC must be set up on the same day that the LLP is registered.

Update within seven days whenever there are changes. This deadline starts after your controller confirms their details.

LLPs registered from 16 June 2025 need to file their RORC information when they register their LLP via Bizfile.

After registration, you must file any updates within two business days. This deadline starts after you update your private RORC.
