Transitioning to the CSP Act: Existing RFAs & RQIs
Learn how registered filing agents (RFAs) and registered qualified individuals (RQIs) will transition to the Corporate Service Providers (CSP) Act 2024.
Key changes in the CSP Act
The CSP Act took effect on 9 June 2025. If your registration expires on or after 9 June 2025, these changes will apply:
Registration period: Two years (instead of one or two years)
Registration fees: $400 for CSPs, $200 for RQIs
RQI requirements: New membership criteria added
Duties and responsibilities: Expanded with higher penalties

What stays the same for RFAs
RFA: No action needed

If your registration is suspended, it will automatically transition to the CSP Act. Your suspension continues for its original duration with no changes to your status or suspension period. |
