Overview of managing as a corporate service provider (CSP)

Comply with the Corporate Service Providers Act 2024 and its related regulations

As a registered CSP or RQI, you must comply with the CSP Act 2024, which includes:

• Corporate Service Providers Regulations 2025: Specific requirements, duties and responsibilities for CSPs and RQIs

• Corporate Service Providers (Exemptions) Order 2025: Exemptions that may apply to certain requirements

• Corporate Service Providers (Exemptions for Banks, etc.) Order 2025: Exemptions that apply to banks

Comply with guidelines for:

• Anti-money laundering (AML)

• Countering proliferation financing (CPF)

• Countering the financing of terrorism (CFT)

As a CSP, you must comply with AML, CPF and CFT requirements.

Renew your registration every two years:

• Renewing CSP registration

• Renewing RQI registration

If your registration expires:

• Your status will show "Registration expired and has not been renewed".

• You cannot file transactions for CSP clients.

• You must renew within 60 days or you will need to register again.

Notify ACRA of changes in CSP or RQI particulars

You must update ACRA:

• As soon as possible if certain CSP particulars change

• Within 14 days if any RQI particulars change

Notify ACRA when you appoint or withdraw RQIs

Notify ACRA within 14 days of appointing or withdrawing an RQI.
