You need to renew your firm's registration as a CSP to continue providing corporate services by way of business.

This guide explains how to renew your CSP registration via Bizfile.

After you renew, your registration will be valid for two years (effective from the date of approval).

To renew your registration, you need to:

When you can renew

You can renew up to 60 days before the expiry date.

If your registration expires:

  • Your status will change to "Registration expired and has not been renewed"

  • You cannot file transactions for clients with ACRA

  • You have 60 days to renew from the expiry date

  • After renewal, your registered qualified individuals (RQIs), employees, and client list remain unchanged

  • If you do not renew within 60 days, you will need to submit a new application for registration and pay the application fee

Who may renew

You must be an authorised position holder or RQI of the CSP.

Examples of authorised position holders include:

  • Directors

  • Company secretaries

  • Partners

  • Owners

Prepare:

  • Name list of appointed RQIs

  • Mandatory training and proficiency test records

Ensure that all RQIs are active and will remain appointed to the CSP.

Update any changes to your CSP information through the "General lodgement" eService.

This includes changes to your CSP's type of corporate services offered, its nature of business, and its list of RQIs.

After you submit and pay, all appointed RQIs must endorse their appointment within 14 days.

If endorsements are not completed on time, the application will lapse and you will need to re-apply.

Step 1: Log in to Bizfile and open the "Renew registration as corporate service provider" eService

Follow these steps to navigate to the Renew registration as corporate service provider eService and log in.

Note: All entity and personal information (including UEN, entity details, NRIC or FIN numbers, names and addresses) shown are dummy data for illustration purposes only.

1. Click "Login" on the Bizfile homepage and select "Business User" to log in via Corppass.

Step 2: Renew your registration

Follow these steps to renew your CSP registration.

Step 3: Obtain endorsement, if needed

If the lodger is also the appointed RQI, no additional endorsement is required. In all other cases, appointed RQIs will receive a notification in their Bizfile inbox to endorse their appointment within 14 days.

After you renew

After all endorsements are completed, ACRA will review:

  • Your conduct and compliance history as a CSP

  • Any professional misconduct, including breach of fiduciary duty or serious negligence that affects your commercial integrity

  • Your understanding of anti-money laundering, terrorist designation legislation and targeted financial sanctions

Once your application is approved, you will receive a notification in your Bizfile inbox. You can then continue filing transactions for your clients.

Note: Once registered as a CSP, no refunds will be provided for early de-registration or cancellation of registration by ACRA.
