The Skills Framework for Accountancy is a career guide that helps you make informed career choices and plan your skills development.

Identify the skills you need for 43 job roles across 10 career tracks. This includes 104 technical skills and 18 generic skills.

Career tracks in accountancy
The 10 tracks are:
Assurance: Auditing and assurance services to provide confidence in financial information
Financial Accounting: Recording, reporting, and analysing financial transactions and statements
Management Accounting: Using financial data to support business decisions and planning
Internal Audit: Evaluating and improving risk management, controls, and governance processes
Business Valuation: Determining the economic value of businesses or assets
Tax: Tax planning, compliance, and advisory services
Restructuring and Insolvency: Managing business restructuring, turnarounds, and insolvency cases
Mergers and Acquisitions: Advising on business combinations, acquisitions, and divestitures
Financial Forensics: Investigating financial crimes, fraud, and disputes
